This guy has gone through a HUGE transformation.
While getting my hair did I ran across this estate sale that looked like a pickers paradise. It was on a Monday and my hairdresser has Mondays off . I know this because I always see him in the thrift stores on Mondays. So we decided to hit this up.
When we arrived they told us to dig out what we wanted and bring it out to auction starting at $2.50 per item. Oh yeah I got a load!! Well apparently no one else saw the potential in this sweet Art Deco piece –
Yes, those are chew marks. I don’t know how I see past the damage and funk. Its all good, a bit of Bondo , paint and LOTS of work and you get this-
I love General Finishes Coastal Blue Milk Paint. I sanded, primed, and painted. The ladies at Painted Poppies talked me into Fusion Tinting Kit in Pale Gold for the Greek Key stencil that I hand cut and the beautiful dip dyed legs. I love those ladies, they never steer me wrong. A couple coats of General Finishes Gel Topcoat Wipe on Urethane and this guy has a new lease on life. Even I am amazed at this one.
He is up for sale if you are local let me know.
Until next time…..
